Use Caution When Buying From eBay!
For the second consecutive time, I've had a problem with eBay sellers playing fast and loose with the facts. And both of these are alleged "Top Sellers."
The first time this fraud posted the following for his merchandise: "Brand New/sealed, has tear in shrink wrap." and "Like New: An item that looks as if it was just taken out of shrink wrap. No visible wear, and all facets of the item are flawless and intact."
The item was obviously used and re-wrapped. The media was scratched, had fingerprints and wouldn't install. I returned the item as requested by eBay and will supposedly be getting a refund. We shall see.
By the way, the original ad is STILL up there! Will the seller rip someone else off too? No way to tell.
Today I received diabetic test strips. Here's the pic from the ad:
I received 50 test strips, not 100 as pictured. After receiving this response from the user: "I have 1 0r 2 boxes of 50 each...sorry the picture is misleading. the $15.00 is for 1 box."
So this clown admits that the picture was misleading. I opened another resolution case on eBay, but I can't return these because I need them.
