Websites to Avoid - JusticeQuest

Well, unless of course, you are a Christian, Republican, or even better, both.

It's amazing how Christians at that site are allowed to get away with practically anything they choose to, especially their typically hateful speech. Try Mentioning Joy Behar or Woody Allen on that site. A case in point: I was reading a thread about the Freedom From Religion Foundation suing a Texas town for having a Nativity scene on courthouse property. I originally was going to just ignore it, but the Xtian posts contained within were just too much. For example:

"So if it's taken down, it's EXCLUDING Christians and that's ok with them?"

"They don't care about Christians. You know this. Their argument that non-believers will feel that the courthouse doesn't welcome them is about the lamest I've ever read. Its a building. It doesn't care about what anyone believes."

"Really what I would like to see happen is the Christians (and any other religion who wants to join in ) file a lawsuit against the atheist saying that they are excluding those who do believe. It's discrimination against all religions from the atheist. I probably didn't say this right, but you know what I mean."

"Lets open up a Texas size can of whoop ass on The Freedom From Religion organization! Why is it anyone who believes in a Christian religion has to change their outward displays of their faith to please others who do not believe the same?"

When I pointed out that Nativity scenes, or those of ANY other religion do not belong on government property, I received a vicious response from an alleged Xtian, which ended with essentially telling me to "STFU."

Later on another response saying that I shouldn't "ASSume," pretty much calling me an ass.

Apparently, those responses sat just fine with a biased "moderator" whose name is Jeana. She must be a fan of JBean from Websleuths, or at least attended "The JBean School of Nasty Moderating" because she is quite similar to her.

I responded to those two posts, without cursing (I don't curse on public forums), but in a similar manner. What was the result you ask? The post was deleted almost immediately without warning and I thought that I didn't hit the "Submit" button so I reposted it. Lo and behold and shalakazam, I get a threatening private message from the previously referenced Jeana saying "I don't want to have to delete another post, so knock it off. Once a moderator deletes one of your posts, its advisible NOT to keep reposting it."

First off, I don't allow anyone to talk to me in that condescending manner, and exactly HOW would I know that's what happened? As it happens, Jeana ended up deleting THREE of my posts while the other offending posts continued to sit there. To make matters worse, AFTER the three were deleted, a post appears saying "*KNOCK OFF THE CRAP. IF YOU CAN'T POST LIKE GROWN UPS, DON'T POST. *" in bold of course. This must have caused confusion as to who she was talking to as my posts were already almost instantly deleted. When I responded to that post by referencing something Jeana said in a thread about Christopher Hitchen's death, "I hope its not too hot where he is" that too was deleted. This broad must be a riot at funerals, you know?

It took numerous emails and a suggestion that I hit the "Alert" button to report a post. The other offending posts were then finally edited. Jeana also claims that she suggested in that thread to EVERYONE that they use "Ignore" if they don't like posts by someone. That is patently false. There was NO such suggestion.

Then she actually accused me of "abusing" her in my messages. Of course, it doesn't count for her when she referred to me as being "horribly rude" all day, that I was having a "ridiculous" exchange with her and "No one here would get away with being as rude as you are, so I suggest you grow up, get over yourself and stop arguing. I'm not here to babysit you." Hmm...who is abusing who again?

When will I learn never to frequent forums that consist mainly of bored middle-aged women with nothing better to do? Jeana practically lives on that forum and seems to be there 24 hours a day. What a life you must have, dear. Yep, that's right, she once referred to me in a condescending manner as "dear."

Slowly but surely I started to be less and less inclined to visit that forum what with the bias towards Xtians and "favorite posters" who can get away with just about anything, like another individual with a disgusting foul mouth who I will only refer to as "a fairylike or elfin creature."

As a result of the exchange with Jeana, I was timed out for three days and eventually banned when I had the nerve to respond to her during an email exchange that *she* initiated, and she said sarcastically, that maybe someday we could be friends. Right, and I'm the Czar of all the Russias after all that just went down.

So good riddance, JusticeQuest, it's a relief to know that I won't be tempted to put up with any of that nonsense again.

  1. I wiah I'd been posting there when you were posting there. There are many poster who speak very highly of you and your opinions. FWIW, born again Christians are getting persecuted over there right now! I feel like Samson with my hair cut.

  2. Hi there! the mods on that site can be very nasty indeed, lets not cover who "J" is we all know it is jeana, the most vicious of them all. Your right she posts day and night, I think she drinks and posts.

  3. Thanks, but as you know, with many websites you always have a moderator who will be idiotically biased, and thinks that their opinion matters more than a lowly poster. What irks me about that particular one is that she deleted 3 of my posts so that she could run to the admins to ban me just on her word/opinion, rather than my actual comments. It's kind of like a person who hangs out constantly at a particular place and then think that they own it. Never fear though, your hair will grow back! Hee hee.

And, Justice Quest is just as bad, worse in some ways.
All you will find at JQ is a bunch of gossip hounds bemoaning Websleuths. If you do try to discuss a crime, the moderators edit most of what you have to say. However, some of the favored posters are allowed to post the same refrain:
    FIND JANE DOE
    FIND JANE DOE
    FIND JANE DOE

    BRING JANE DOE HOME
    BRING JANE DOE HOME
    BRING JANE DOE HOME

How uttering the same refrain in every post assist with bringing a victim home evades me.

JQ is fully staffed with the mind set of group-thinkers. They get their news from FB. No thank you to that

LMAO, believe me, I hear ya!I never wanted to join Justice Quest because I had read too many of the posts contributed by its members. All it seemed to be was a bunch of bored grannies mentioning their grandchildren at any opportunity, though their grandchildren are not at all relevant to the thread topics. Oh, and every other post seems to read "Find Madame X!" (in reference to the current case of a missing woman)Yeah, because that is so very helpful to the case!If it's not "Find Madame X," it's some moderator asking everyone to stay on track. Apparently, their idea of "on track" is to continually post "Find Madame X!" Another thing that turned me off was irrelevant posting by a person on there who seems to think her drug experience is of interest to anyone. I read about her use of Ambien and crank and decided that if I wanted to hear such prattling, I would just pretend to be a junkie and attend NA meetings. I was under the impression that JQ was a forum related to current crime cases, not a confessional for druggies and grannies cackling and knitting.Needless to say, I never wanted to get involved in that mess after I read all those posts, so I justdidn't bother, obviously.I would avoid it at all costs. I don't know anything bout websleuths at all. I haven't read anything on there, so I can't comment about that one. For all I know, it is somehow connected to JQ, and that's why I never bothered to check it out.

Ha! OK. I wasn't looking on there long enough to even getthat far, once I'd read an endless number of posts exhorting Law enforcement,or, I guess, anybody else reading the thing to
"Find Madame X," I decided I'd read enough and had no interest in joining thatparticular group. Sure, I find the idea of a forum filled with nothing but parrots ("Find madame X" "find madame X!" squawk-squawk, bawk-bawk!), grannies, crank and Ambienjunkies and braggarts somewhat amusing, but not enough to want toexchange communication with any of them.So websleuths isn't like that? I'll heck it out if i can read it without having to join it. I've read too many negative comments online about that forum.

I'm here to tell you Justice Quest is a mess. It is filled with old hags who hate hate hate. There is a moderator named Jeana who posts on threads (no life) and has a gang of ass kissing old biddies with her to make herself feel important. Don't ever make her look stupid or you are banned. It's not easy to not make her look stupid. She considers herself an attorney and even better, she has her medical expert, and old hag named Warhorse, who spends her time spouting her so called qualifications.

  5. Here's an example of the low opinion that is had for their members. I posted a link to Kiva.org, a non-profit organization that gives micro loans to people all over the world. My link was removed without explanation. The following ensued through PMs. Naturally this birtch did not want other members to see the real her. First she claims it seemed like an advertisement. Then it was just a link that she didn't happen to like. Then her "research" indicated that it was a pyramid scheme. That's just bullshit, plain and simple. Any "research" she would have done would have revealed just the opposite. I welcome anyone else reading this to Google Kiva and see for yourself.
    ====================

You really are not that intelligent are you?

What the hell kind of welcome do you expect?
"Hi thank you for gracing us with your presence"

You just seem like a miserable person who wishes to argue.
Do not threaten me with posting our forum on your sad blog.
If that is your feelings honey then go with it.

Your Kiva thread just seemed to much like an advertisement.
Had you posted your personal story along with the link ... that would have been OK.

The concept is simple... I removed a link that I did not like.
I will not further explain or justify my choice.
I do not have to justify it. At last check this forum is mine.
Now you have a choice.... You can drop this or you can continue to fuss. Which I promise will not get you anywhere.

You can object to whatever you wish but the reality is that I own this forum and can run it however I want.
I gave you an explanation about why your post was removed and I stand by that. As my research indicates it is a pyramid scheme.

  8. My personal favorite:

Many posters and at least one moderator refer to: IN SESSIONS.
Like it's plural? Why can't they say In Session?? That's pretty basic stuff, IMO>

  9. The posters over there, and some of the moderators, are not the sharpest tools in the shed. To be fair though, there ARE some intelligent posters. But the moderators are akin to Websleuths, as much as they try to deny it.

  11. I got banned for "Questionable Registration" I guess because I have a life and can't sit there twenty four seven talking about criminal cases. I mean seriously you're going to make it impossible to read your forum without registering then ban someone because all they want to do is read.

    1. It seems that they have become even more anal with their policies. What are they afraid of; that a sane person may see them for what they are?
