Whether it's because they are assholes in real life, morons on the screen, or I just plain-old don't like them for whatever reasons, here is a PARTIAL list of celebs who turn me off and I will avoid seeing their films. (There are minor exceptions...I like Whoopi Goldberg in Star Trek: The Next Generation, but she's not in every show.)

ReplyDeleteEver since The Gladiator, Russell Crow has been an actor to avoid in my book. I'm very surprised Joaquin Phoenix isn't on your list. I know it's partial, but I thought you REALLY didn't like him. If you ever saw Russell Brand, you'd probably add him as well, but I REALLY like him. I never thought John Wayne could act. As for the rest of the list: Roseanne Whatever doesn't do much these days, thankfully; Shia, if he's in something I really want to watch, then I will; Leo, same way. Ben, Whoopi, Jack, Nicole and Julia are watchable IMHO, and in some cases, enjoyable. Will Ferrell is like a train wreck to me - I'm not a fan but will still watch him - at least for a while. I'm sure you'll be adding to your list as time goes by.
